Best True wireless Bone Conduction Earphones

By Tinh Lee, January 2, 2023

True wireless bone conduction earphones are interesting products and could be ideal in some situations like biking and jogging. While they let your ears uncovered, they deliver sound through vibrations along your cheekbones. Bone conductions TWS are not only for those with a mild hearing loss (who'd like to enjoy music on the go) but also they are designed for people who don't like earbuds that jam into their ear canals. They also let you be aware of the surrounding while deliver reasonable sound quality and quality voice calls.

This type of earbuds IMO is an experimental product, but it seems they are well received by users.

How do you like sound delivered to your ears? Sony LinkBuds with a open ring accommodating drivers, AirPods don't seal your ears and lastly bone conduction earphones. Sony LinkBuds or Apple AirPods transmit sound through the air - both are open design earbuds though Sony's approach is quite different that lets your ear canals almost unblocked.
How we picked?
Bass performance
Bone conduction earphones don't sound as good as standard earbuds with dynamic drivers, particularly for bass performance. However, the sound quality is still fine and workable, except that it doesn't have any sub-bass or great detail.
Battery life
Their battery can be rated up to 8 hours
Fit & Comfort
Any earpieces that weigh more than 9 grams are not supposed to be comfortable and fortunately these ear-clips manage to weigh less, but they may cause discomfort and you are going to feel a bit of pressure when wearing them.
Brands
earsopen is the first brand entering the bone conduction TWS wagon. We're expected Shokz (well-known for their flagship Bluetooth bone conduction headphones - Air, Aeropex, OpenMove, Xtrainerz) will join soon.
